One thing that stands out about Holcomb scrapers is that they lower at the rear instead of the front. This keeps the blade & platform at a lesser angle to the ground, allowing you to slice a thinner layer of dirt. This gives you more depth control while crumbling up the dirt making it easier to load and unload. Of course it also makes it easier on the towing unit by giving it a steady pull instead of dipping & gouging.
