Quality Finish

Maurer grain trailers are chemically cleaned before being primed.  A low VOC high-solids corrosion resistant PPG polyurethane primer is applied.  This primer comes from the newest generation of primers and has a sand-blasting time equivalent to or exceeding that of the epoxy primers.   Finally, PPG Urotec polyurethane paint is electrostatically applied

All Maurer Grain Trailers are undercoated with XRC110, a synthetic rubber coating which dries to a firm, abrasion-resistant film which is also mar-resistant.  These properties make it superior to the asphalt or tar based undercoatings which are not mar-resistant and over time can dry out, become brittle and chip off.
